Our prediction products include a unique software tool to predict fracture toughness and fatigue crack growth rate of metals. By reducing testing it becomes an essential cost saving product in conducting trade-off studies during material down-selection processes.
 
For composites and ceramics ASC provides the capabilities to enhance our customers’ competitive position by accurately predicting strength, life and failure modes of complex composite and ceramic structures. This is accomplished through progressive damage, delamination and crack growth tracking using coupled FEM and micro mechanics. By introducing micro mechanics at the fiber and matrix level, damage mechanisms are reliably predicted and customers achieve timely cost effective competitive composite and ceramic products.
 
To make our products and services readily available on a global scale, ASC offers a collaborative engineering environment that is accessed over the web and which supports engineering calculations to a geographically distributed team or to customers performing engineering calculations when the appropriate software is not installed on the clients’ computer.
