AlphaSTAR signs on as Women in 3D Printing corporate sponsor

LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA, (7/2/2020) – AlphaSTAR Corporation is proud to announce its new corporate
partnership with Women in 3D Printing, a global organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, and
inspiring women who are using Additive Manufacturing technologies.

This sponsorship is part of AlphaSTAR’s ongoing commitment, as a women owned business, to turn a
highly male concentrated industry into a gender-balanced and diverse space; which is also in alignment
with Women in 3D Printing’s mission to increase the visibility of women in the Additive Manufacturing
industry and encourage more women to use 3D Printing technologies.

“AlphaSTAR is pleased to be partnering with an organization that is shining a light on diversity in the
Additive Manufacturing industry,” says President, Kay Matin. “In an era where equality is an important
discussion topic, we understand the need to even out the playing field, and the significance of staying
vigilant to protect and promote our scientists and engineers, regardless of gender. Given the opportunity,
women may bring differing views, but ones that will be valuable to the overall approach in resolving key
issues, whether technical or otherwise. Having women in the board room, the laboratory, or shop floor,
adds richness to each working group. Companies that have incorporated such measures with open arms
can be testimony to this value proposition.”
